The Student Attachment Program (SAP) is one of DHIS Secondary Lembang’s flagship international initiatives designed to broaden students’ global perspectives, develop cross-cultural understanding, and enhance academic and personal growth through real-world experiences. In the academic year 2024/2025, SAP was successfully implemented with tailored destinations for two student levels: Lower Secondary students traveled to Australia, while Upper Secondary students undertook the program in the United Kingdom.

Lower Secondary Program: Australia
Objective:
To expose students to a different education system, encourage independence, and provide firsthand experiences of Australian culture and society.

Program Duration:
(April 7–21, 2025)

1. Classroom immersion in subjects such as Science, Mathematics, and English

2. Cultural exchange projects with local students

3. Educational excursions including a visit to Cleland Wildlife Park and Adelaide Museum

4. Homestay experiences with Australian host families

2. Heightened interest in global issues and education systems

3. Development of confidence and adaptability through independent travel and homestay living

Upper Secondary Program: United Kingdom

Objective:
To deepen academic engagement in preparation for university-level education and to gain insights into British educational traditions and institutions.

The 2024/2025 SAP has proven to be a transformative experience for both Lower and Upper Secondary students. The program has not only enriched their academic journeys but also instilled essential life skills and global citizenship values.
